What this service is

Dayton Mold Remediation Pros is a referral service. It passes requests from homeowners, renters, landlords and buyers to independent mold inspection and remediation companies. It is not a contractor, does not inspect, test, remove or remediate mold, and does not perform or supervise any work.

Free and no obligation

Requesting quotes is free. You are not obligated to hire any company that contacts you. Dayton Mold Remediation Pros may be paid by participating companies, generally a flat amount per request, and that payment does not depend on whether you hire them.

The companies are independent

Companies that receive requests are independent businesses, not employees, agents or partners of Dayton Mold Remediation Pros. Any agreement for work is between you and the company you choose. We do not verify, endorse or vouch for any company's insurance, registrations, pricing or workmanship.

Before hiring, get a written contract and an itemized estimate, ask for a certificate of insurance, and check registrations that apply, such as City of Dayton registration for plumbing, electrical or HVAC work, Ohio EPA asbestos licensing and ODH lead licensing. Ohio's Home Solicitation Sales Act generally gives you three business days to cancel a sale made at your home.
